My brokerage firm has offered me a loan. Should I take it?
Be very careful. You will likely pay interest on the loan, and/or, they will want you to sign a document saying you won’t sue them in the future. You should also be aware that the interest rate charged on these loans may exceed the yield you are getting on the underlying security.
